Circularity Strategy

The shift to a circular economy isn't just an environmental imperative, it's a business one.

Circularity is the tool and the lever that helps organisations achieve their environmental goals.

Everloop helps your business cut through the complexity and build a circularity strategy that actually works.

We work closely with leadership and operational teams to embed circular principles into day-to-day decision-making; from procurement and product development to supply chain management and operations. This includes eco-design and circular product innovation, informed by Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), to help you design products that reduce material use, extend product life, enable repair and reuse.

We also support circular business model innovation; from product-as-a-service and take-back schemes to closed-loop systems.

How we help:

  • Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and eco-design
  • Product & service circular systems modelling
  • Circular business model innovation
  • Crafting a circularity impact story and developing impact metrics
  • Certification support (EcoVadis, B Corp)

Articulating Circularity Impact

Luxury Fashion Resale Platform

A digital luxury resale platform needed to quantify the environmental savings generated by its tech solution for its high-end fashion clients to enhance their value proposition.

Click to find out more

We conducted a deep dive into the environmental objectives of the client’s key customers, mapping their priorities against the platform’s features to clarify the environmental value proposition. We established a clear framework to distinguish between the client’s direct impact and the "enabled impact" delivered to their customers. This included defining specific KPIs such as garment life extension duration, tonnage of material diverted from landfills, and carbon emissions avoided by displacing new production with clear caveats and data requirements to substantiate claims.

The result

A robust impact measurement framework that translates circular activities into credible environmental metrics, allowing the client to demonstrate a data-backed sustainability case to its global fashion partners.

Circularity Impact & LCA Benchmarking

Innovative Materials Brand

An innovative materials brand needed to identify and quantify the specific environmental metrics required to demonstrate its circularity advantages over conventional material alternatives.

Click to find out more

We utilized the Circular Business Canvas framework to assess the brand's impact story, pinpointing existing environmental savings and areas for circularity improvement. To provide rigorous data, we conducted a streamlined Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) quantifying carbon, land use, ecotoxicity, and water consumption. We then benchmarked these results against proxy data for conventional materials to clearly calculate the comparative savings.

The result

A data-backed impact narrative supported by a suite of key metrics, enabling the client to communicate its environmental superiority and circularity value to customers and partners with confidence.

Carbon Reduction through Circularity

Home Appliance Brand

A leading home appliance brand sought to understand the scale of carbon savings that can be achieved from transitioning to a circular business model.

Click to find out more

We modeled multiple circular strategies designed to intercept the product's primary carbon drivers, reimagining manufacturing processes, revenue streams, and customer relationships. These models integrated restructured distribution systems aimed at both mitigating environmental hotspots and enhancing supply chain resilience against geopolitical volatility. Our analysis quantified potential carbon reductions while identifying the critical assumptions and enabling factors required to ensure the financial and operational viability of the new models

The result

A strategic roadmap for carbon reduction that aligns circularity with business resilience, providing the client with a clear view of the success factors and changes required to deliver the needed carbon saving.

Building your Circularity Strategy.
Where do you start?

Taking a few structured steps can help you identify where to focus and build long-term resilience.

  • Map your material flows: Where do resources enter and leave your business? Which materials most critical or most at risk?
  • Understand your impacts: Where across these flows are the environmental impacts hotspots?
  • Set priorities: What are the levers that can offer the biggest reduction in environmental impacts? Consider different circularity business models, materials use reduction, change in inputs and opportunities to close the loop.
  • Make a plan: Identify the assumptions that need testing, enablers that need to be in place and opportunities to pilot.

Ready to take the next step?

We help you identify opportunities, reduce risk across your value chain, and build a circularity strategy that's credible, practical, and built to last.
